Who is Barney Reynolds?
Barney Reynolds began his career in
homebuilding while in college more than 30 years ago.
Upon graduation he made a decision to stay in home
building rather than follow up on his degree in Criminal
Justice. He began as a assistant superintendent for the
largest homebuilder in Austin and ultimately ended up as
manager of the company. He developed over 10,000 lots in
the Austin metropolitan area and within one single year he
built over 1,000 homes delivering upon his promise of quality.
Barney struck out on his own in 1993 when
he began Reytex Builders in Austin The homes he has built
range from $50,000 to $800,000 in multiple neighborhoods around
the Austin metropolitan area.
In 2007 he sold his interest in Reytex and
he and his wife moved to Warrenton to a house they built
themselves several years earlier. Barney now specializes
in country homes in the Round Top/Warrenton area of
Fayette County in South Central Texas.
